Amazing but very heartbreaking mini series what really gets to me you watch all the horrible things that were done & yet us humans have not learned from history, just more wrong doings still being done over & over to others more folks need to take a better look at our history so we can all become one we all breathe & bleed the same....must watch

Actually a mini-series with each episode an hour an a half long but well done covering the changes to the American western frontier through some major historical events. Typical combo of fiction/non-fiction but great costuming and detail.

Beautiful epic series, at times very hard to watch because of all the wrong that was done to the Native Americans. While watching it I did some back round reading on the events and people in these series, to understand better what happened during that time, hard to imagine this really went down in the way it did. 4/5

I really enjoyed this series. It really tells the tale of the horrible wrongs done to Native Americans and the hardships that people faced on their journey to settle the American West. I loved it, my kind of film.

I down loaded every episode off of you tube...it's a very long but very good movie! 5/5

I wanted to wait until I got to the end before leaving any comments. This series was so well done! I put off watching it for a long time, knowing how it would effect me.. and I wasn't wrong, it was hard to watch the Indians being let down and lied to again and again. It was heartbreaking to see the way their beautiful culture and beliefs were systematically targeted. However, although I profess little knowledge of what things are like over there now... I am greatful, and very slightly comforted by the fact that this testament to thier strength and courage and integrity - especially in the face of such blatant betrayal - even exists, and is not the only one of its kind. I wish this all never happened. Unfortunately it did, and it saddens me more than I can say... what a truly beautiful people.
