I find US shows like Big Bang Theory, Friends, Will and Grace really funny... but the US version of The Office is, for me, absolutely awful!! For people saying the UK version isn't funny and you've 'yet to laugh', that is because it is subtle humour. It's 'cringe' humour. It's something really different, it's not 'in-your-face' like the US remake is! To me the US Office is just like any other comedy show on TV! UK Office dared to do something unique! UK Office all the way!

The US version is not anything unusual, just another in-your-face sitcom. The Office UK is fly-on-the-wall 'cringe-humour'. You don't have to have belly laughs the whole way through something to find it funny!!

Why are there the American TV show episodes all mixed up with the English ones ? The English TV show didn't last 6 seasons but stopped at the end of the second one !

Absoultely hilarious. If only they had made more episodes. It was my love for this that brought me to the US office which I also did end up enjoying after some time. This is a must watch for british comedy fans though!

The UK version was the first one and the USA copied the format. I personally prefer the UK versions as it is just like my experience working in officers in the UK - and yes I am english
