This show gave me a wild imagination when I was young and was always off my seat praying he doesn't get caught, the thrill at the end of the show was always great.

Loved this show ... the mysteries were fantastic.

now that yoda has piped in, this show watch I must.

The writers for this series really needed to come up with a different trope, they act as though everyone responds well to having their emotions thrown in their face by a third party, and that everyone cracks immediately under presumed threat of bodily harm. The secondary and tertiary characters are very one-dimensional, and as such are completely unbelievable. If this is how the other seasons progressed, I can't see why people liked it, or how it managed to be renewed for multiple seasons. My overall rating for this show has just dropped to below 3.5/10. An interesting and fun concept can only carry a series so far, it could have been great, but 19 eps in, and we still see a formulaic approach to every episode, it is inexcusable.

A great show and M.T Wiess was really good in his part. The show has an interesting premise to exploit and the back and forward thing fills the gap along the way. The characters were original in their own way. The center, real neat idea and the hidden agenda and the conspiracy, i bet if you love mystery thrillers, this is for you. Don't forget to catch island of the haunted movie as well. It will give you some very good closure on this series.

A really good episode but sad though :'( Love this show.

best episode in all 4 seasons...esp if you like Miss Parker in lingerie LOL, I was just watching for ole times sake (this series gets little boring and way too predictable ,but hey, it was made in the 90s and i think they were running out of material.) ran across this one i hadnt seen before, it had the humor and goofy feel of an ole time detective story. Broots (john Gries) finally got his fantasy wish with Miss Parker, whom I have always thought was awesome. I like Broots character throughout the show even when i got tired of the Pretender himself. Hes the little guy who played in Real Genius all those years ago along with a young Val Kilmer. I always thought it was Miss Parker,Broots,and creepy wheezy Mr. Raines (forever dragging his O2 tank around with him) that made the show worth watching. Michael Wiess has the looks but I wasnt real impressed with his acting.

This show is certainly very entertaining, I have spent an afternoon watching a ton of episodes back to back, and am now half way through the first season, and have yet to see any overall plot development. I am beginning to lose all the interest I had initially felt for the series, I hope something picks up and we get to see some more development, otherwise I'll probably end up dropping the show, I tire easily of shows that are made so that you can skip an episode or six and still pick up where you left off without skipping a beat.
