its really worth it. Plus having seen a bunch of episodes it will help with placing characters as you read. The seventh episode is about 600 pages into the book, 800 total. You can rip through it real quick and not having to wait for the next episode is very nice. Enjoy

Great episode. Except...that ending...Dragons I can deal with, but that....it's getting a little, well like LOST with the smoke monster...but then again this show is sooo good, so they'll pull it all off. I hope.

If you like this show you should try VIKINGS another fabulous drama. I'm spoilt for choices today. Game of Thrones, Vikings and the Borgias are back...so much nudity who needs porn ;) ... What?...well there is! Mondays like pervy paradise, should be called Smutty Monday from now on...anyway, need to go, have a happy Smutty Monday all.

More incredible than this episode was the joy that I had when I didn't have to listen to Khaleesi Daenerys whine "WHERE'S MY DRAGONS?!?" for another hour... {SPOILER ALERT} About time The Hound dropped his guise as well, was waiting for that. It's interesting to read people writing "I hate it when the bad guys win." Who says Tywin or Tyrion are truly "bad guys"..? Not necessarily... To me it's clear Tyrion is going to go through a major catharsis, and even Tywin has shown he has a heart now and then. Jaime and Joffrey (... and THE MOUNTAIN) are the ONLY central characters are that are COMPLETELY evil and self-serving I have seen thus far. Cersei doesn't even come CLOSE to their level, at least not yet. Virtually all the other "bad guys" are shades of grey, and that's what keeps me so interested!

Well just like Camelot this has turned into a steaming pile of manure. I am done with this. I would like to thank the writers for getting this series behind me.

Agreed...she seems to be the only one fit for it. Tough to choose fav characters but my tops are Daenerys, Tyrion, Arya, Robb, Varys, and I love to hate Joffrey.

Ahhh that was AWESOME! I can't believe they can still surprise me, after reading the books, so quite a bit gets left out, but HBO is just switching it up, and the changes, the adds.....just such a GREAT show! 10/10...all day!

Quite enjoying this series. Took me these three episodes to recognise Viserys Targaryen. Kept niggling at me, then I realised it was 'son of mine' from Doctor Who's ''Family of Blood'' episode. Seems to have developed some acting skills since then. Bean is as always, something of a disappointment from his early promising career. Always typecast/pigeon-holed and not allowed to spread his acting wings. Some nice new faces though. The youngest son of the household (forgive me, but the character's name slips my mind) is very focussed and believable. Most of the girls seem to be just consumed with the need for abundant nudity, but the actress playing Viserys Targaryen's sister is a real star. Good story, some engaging performances and epic tale.

Now thats a bad b*tch, the last 5 mins..AWESOME

I have no idea why I read your review. I already love the show, but I must say - well done. Quite intellectual... for a moron ;) Unfortunately it's in my nature to look for flaws in shows, but I have a hard time finding them here. Roll on Season 3...
