I morally agree with Lockhart on this, not just legally. Morally you have to choose between two 'wrongs', two evils. It is morally wrong not to try to have that woman prosecuted for her crime, but it is also morally wrong to thereby force the consequences of a system-inherent flaw upon all the other parties of the class action suit, who would loose their legal right to be compensated for the company's misdoings. (This flaw in the system is of course a sacrifice made to the reality of limited resources for so many cases, thus the class action suit.) It is a judgement call really and both decision can be justified - and even though the one Lockhart chose also wins her the case, I find it morally right as well.

If that's parenting then her husband is a blushing virgin.

So is our favorite good wife/mother/laywer/human ever defending someone not so innocent? We need more moral dilemmas!

finally some questionable innocence

I don't fully grasp why Cary still holds a grudge against Alicia, it's ridiculous. I understood his imidiate anger after loosing to her because of what seemed to him was an unfair move of using her husbands connections. But they have both countless times used their connections. Alicia seemed genuinely sorry and I'm sure he believes that L&G would have hired them both if they could have - not just after he has "grown". I'd rather be angry with Kalinda for going out celebrating with Alicia than consolidating him after they became friends shortly before. I'm pretty sure he needed her more and being angry with Alicia it's even more astonishing that one wouldn't sesent Kalinda this betrayal (or rather 'choosing a side').

What's with the overly prominent music this season?

well, 95% winning rate with certain judges for very successful lawyer with a 75% winning rate on average translates into a less than 51% winning rate with such judges for a less successful laywer with an average winning rate of 40%. And no one would claim these 51%ers might be bribed.

One more remembering-Will-sexytime-scene and I'll shoot myself in the head.

Also, while a well done surprise ending, it was clear many episodes ago that Alicia would go this way eventually - it makes perfect sense if she doesn't want to fall back again and again into old desires.

never has an affair been more romanticized.
