Watch Come Dine with Me Season 1: A group of five strangers, each an amateur chef, compete to host the best dinner party, each party solely for the competitors and to be held on consecutive evenings. With a set amount of money provided for the party, each host must submit a menu in advance of the week, the menu to consist of at least a starter, a main and a dessert/pudding. At the end of each party, each guest rates the party on a scale of one to ten inclusive. Each guest can use whatever criteria he/she deems important to rate the party, the quality of the food only being one possible factor. Love this show !! odays episode featured dinner at Linda's house . Linda is THE most unwelcoming , bad mannered bitch ever to appear on ComeDine. How the other 2 female guests put up with her I do not know. The woman clearly has "issues". Great TV if your into coockery with that somethign extra. I think its the combo of been able to people watch / see inside other peoples houses / the flirting/the arguments / the bitching ect , that makes this show so popular. Linda has got to be in the top 3 worst dinner hosts ever , i bet she makes the "best and worse of come dine" that they show at the end of each year. Addictive stuff and ive learned lots of cooking tips as well as been entertained. I hope they never take this show off air , its now a UK Teatime Institution !
