Very sad, but it reflects what is really happening. I did enjoy the movie for what it was and the hurtful story it told.

That is pretty much how it is. There has never been a SOP or ROE saying kick open the door and spray. They showed proper SOP and then they just ignored it. Don't identify your target, and just randomly throw grenades isn't how it works. The iraqi local, and people were spot on. And the marines were all kinds of complacent. No sectors scans, no paying attention to detail, fresh dug hole, didn't even notice. I was a driver that was a major responsability for everyone in the vehicle. The people involved in the IED strike should not have been sent to clear, emotionally compromised. I'd say it was an equal representation from both sides. Kinda draggie though but in Iraq it gets like that. That's why you can't just stop paying attention, people get killed. 8/10

I watched this yesterday evening, what a powerful movie about the emotions of war. Acting is superb and believable, the spec effects were almost too real because they showed the horror of war realistically. War, it destroys lives in more ways than one and this movie brings that to the light of day and then some - it will haunt you, putting it right in your face. 9/10

A movie that is trying so hard not to make us forget the folly of an insane war....as they all are 4/5.
