interesting movie about a teacher who lets experience of his own life slip into the lessons rather than what he ought to teach.dont expect too much action,this one is about real life

@fawaz2lkc i agree with you that he is a great actor and he does an awesome job in dramas, but i don't agree about the story lacking something. I don't think you got the point in this movie. Anyways great movie. 4/5

I find it strange and somewhat disheartening that a lot of people seem to be confused by this film and struggle to find it's point. For me it's an easy 10/10. I found that it gave me a similar feeling to 'Lost in Translation', but I could relate a lot more to these characters. Sincerest thanks to the makers, rippers and uploaders. <3

depressing movie...

I have to agree with user angelas on this one, it's a bit weird and awkward, but still intriguing, a very realistic slow drama movie. Not what i had expected it to be about. Maybe a one time watch if you like dramas, Gosling is made for parts like these 7/10.

Ryan i know you are good in drama films but this one its just not that good you was acting good but i think it was the story need more work out.

the plot left something to be desired. i think the story asked a lot of questions without giving any real answers. not bad, just not the type of movie i enjoy.

Great performance

really loved it. everyone's acting was flawless. the bathroom/crack scene has some of the best acting i have ever seen, and even though the ending didn't necessarily show any change whatsoever, it was still a nice way to end a movie. i guess it was like that on purpose for it to be realistic, as life doesn't really have any 'end'. 10/10

I love Ryan Gosling! He is so amazing, this story is very good and different. I liked every character and was rooting for them. 8.5/10

This is just a great movie. The actors were amazing, Ryan Gosling was great, as usual, but I think the girl who played the young teen ager acted as well if not better than Gosling.
