That same year, Hogwarts is hosting 'The Triwizard Tournament', a magical tournament between three well-known schools of magic : Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. This movie was actually a turning point in the serial, still managing balance between the story and action-sci fi-drama. It was a lot more intense than previous movies, therefore 9.3/10. The ending thrilled me, looks promising quite promising!

This is my fav out of all the movies. I don't know why just is, I think I've read this book more than the others in the series. I love Harry Potter, it just such a (now) classic and timeless story that is perfect for all ages. As you watch the movies you grow with the characters.

Best Harry Potter movie, simply because Robert Pattinson dies in it. Soak it in folks, it may never happen in a movie again....in a movie anyway. His career however, that's still up in the air. Give it about a decade, we'll all be saying, "Robert Patti-who?" "Oh!!! You mean that flash-in-the-pan, wanna-be Jude Law!! Of course!!"

So so so good. They get better and better. They also get darker too. The books are exactly like the movies. Loved it!

I must say I tend to agree w/you about this one. Did JK run out of ideas? I don't read the HP books so I don't know if it was JK or the screenwriters, but the Goblet of Fire looks like just so much boys, football, flying, and fire with a dabble of phony teen angst thrown in. Newell - sorry not a Mike Newell fan and his direction of this film shows. Bring back Chris Columbus as director! (I'm watching these in sequence...so I've only seen them up to this film.)

I've grown up to these movies, and I am so happy for that. When I was little me and my brothers were waiting every year for a new movie, and when the new Harry Potter-movie came out we were super excited! No one in the future will ever feel that excitement about Harry Potter again. It was awesome!!

This was a big let-down from the 3rd movie. The depth in acting on the part of the kids that we saw in the 3rd seemed to completely disappear in this one. There seemed a preoccupation in the plot for trivial things like the appearances of the characters, special affects, and the amount of teen angst that could be crammed in to particular scenes. Terrible. I think that Pattinson did an okay acting job, though. It's a pity he turned out the way he did when from this it looked as if he would be a promising actor. Now, I must say, I thought that the guy who played Cedric's father did an AMAZING job. I may have hated the rest of the movie and thought it was corny and ridiculous, but in that last scene when Cedric's father finds Cedric dead and is mourning him...that scene almost made me cry. So sad! And you could see how one good actor, even for those few minutes, affected all the actors around him and allowed them to appear more genuine. Watch that scene again, and you'll see what I mean. That was the best scene in the movie, and the guy who played Cedric's father was incredible!

I agree this is one of the best Harry Potter movies, but it's not the one I like the most. Maybe that has to do with what happens to Robert Pattinson.

This was my 2nd favorite Harry Potter film, and oddly enough the first Harry Potter book I read.

Nah, in the books it always said how untidy his hair was so to me it was just the way it should be, though maybe a little cooler looking. He didn't look like Harry from books when he cut it in the next film.
