I don't agree with the previous comment. The characters did evolve and the plot was great as well. Its a true horror film, left mostly to the imagination of the viewers in some parts while other parts are revealed. The ending left it for you to guess what happens. It was rather interesting how it all unfolded and I really enjoyed every minute of it.

I enjoyed this film in some ways, but despised it in others. The soundtrack was great, the script and acting were typical Italian horror, and the mood and atmosphere were somber. However, the transformations of the main characters was not fully realized, which detracted from the suspense, and there was no plot continuity. The story was excellent - well thought out, but how it was revealed was flawed. The greatest strength of the film is the imagery, symbolism, the Gothic artwork and structures. 6.5/10

Really a fun (sort of) scary movie covering an ancient curse and some present day satanic possessions. Worth a watch for sure, and as a side note, geez are Italian women (at least these ones) beautiful. Oh and some terrific over-acting and hysterical dubbing. 7.5/10.

It is an OK movie.I recommend if someone like this type of movie (gothic,satanic etc).I guess this is a typical movie for this time (acting,story line etc).Not really scary but enjoyable.

Interestingly dark and definitely a movie for those who like a little satanism in their lives.
