Love the scary movies from the eighties. This little film is about a family that escapes the horrors of the big city, for the quiet , peaceful and welcoming feeling of the country! They soon begin to make lots of friends and also some enemies, when they discover dead bodies in the lake and in the woods. Although alot of the fun characters have very small parts, it still is interesting to help the family figure out who the killer is. It is such an obvious mystery it becomes almost sad that the murderer was able to get away with this for so long. Now unlike many of the movies in the eighties this family fights back. This film is such a kewl trip down memory lane!

This was a really good thriller - with a lot of excitement and some humor thrown in. Gerald McRaney n Valerie Harper were their excellent selves, as always. 5*
