talk about an epic twist - and a brilliant plan, right when you thought it was over...there comes the bomb - what a shame this show fell victim to the writers

Unfortunately this was one of those great shows that got killed due to the Hollywood writers' strike! There were at least a dozen hit shows that had the potential to go 10 or more seasons that died that year!!! Not pointing fingers over the strike, but, when it was over, it was the networks who decided it would cost too much to bring the shows back and they could make more money throwing some garbage reality shows into the time slots and come up with newer and cheaper shows the next year and, of course, we the fans were the real losers in the whole mess, but that's usually the case.

IMO it is a crying shame that this show was cancelled in the wake of the writers
