Great movie with a good story line 8/10

Wow .. a unique movie with a great story line, very touching and inspiring film sure made me realize we take for granted the smallest things

I liked it but i didnt...I have mixed emotions about this one...I guess u have to make ur own opinion on this one...But yall do anyhow..LOL

Thie movie was so good.The plot was good from begining to the end.I was really on the edge of my seat threw the whole movie.It made me cry and some seens get really mad at others and the end was really good. But it is also really messed up and very sad some seens are hard to watch but it did'nt show alot of stuff but you could hear it going on. Over all it was a outstanding movie.

Crazy movie, but i liked it:) .Lots of good actors and you see that they are good. Thrill 7/10, Drama 8/10, Romance ? there was no romance.

Reading the reviews here made me realise that there are 2 camps of thoughts - those who hate the movie n those who think it's great. And that I feel is also similar in a way to the people in the movie, those who work together to make their lives less painful and those who do not n oppose any sort of peacekeeping...also, it makes one wonder if whatever happened in this movie really happened tomorrow, what will we all do? Who will fall into which category? That is why I love this film because it is so thought-provoking, so humanistic, that it's scary...a lot of people put down Orwell's '1984' when it came out, but it kinda foretold the future...I feel this film is like that...I almost gagged at certain scenes, it's really raw n sick...but then life can be like that...Julianne Moore is awesome to watch, and so is Mark Ruffalo. I especially felt sorry for the little boy, to be in the company of some very deranged adults. My verdict for the movie? Highly recommended. And Roger Ebert can be so wrong sometimes.

this movie left me quite unsettled, but i guess that was it's goal... julianne moore is great as always; the entire cast actually... there is a somewhat graphic mass rape scene (well, two technically), but it works within the context of the film, so be forewarned... 7.5/10

What Da FUQ did I just watch.. very strange but was somehow compelled to continue watching instead of turning it off in the first 10 minutes, decent enough acting from Danny Glover, Julianne Moore and Alice Braga. I think that it had the kinda storyline which leaves you wasting more and i wouldnt mind seeing a sequel. left me with the same kinda feeling i got after watching 28 days later, then again it was a similar storyline except this time it was blindness and not rage. 6/10

The beginning and end was most interesting and the thought of going blind would be horrifying. However, I couldn't get through the middle. It became too sad and got boring.

I really enjoyed this.But I have2say,4a film bout ppl locked away and how they cope,I personally think The Divide is better.This is a good film so long as ur not expecting lots of blood and gore.

This movie is unbelievable it is amazing. I felt it was a great portrayal of the kind of society we live in and the evil people can do. Great actors, great story 10/10

Great movie, very thought provoking to say the least. I really enjoyed it. The levels of societal issues and what the movie captures causes one to either rethink what their values are or continue to turn a blind eye to the issues that still plague the worlds way of life. A must see!

The concept of this movie was great. Overall it was entertaining and well worth the watch but I must say that the end was pretty disappointing. It's pretty sad to see the realistic points of this movie, even when the world is at its lowest point, there always hunger for power and money (in this case food). But again, I have to take of a point for the end. It doesn't really explain the outbreak, it gave me the idea that it was an "act of God" to punish everyone but why was Julianne Moore's character the only one without it? So, it can't be the act of God, it just means she was immune to the "blindness sickness" so it doesn't really make sense. 4/5

I loved this movie 9/10. At times I felt that some parts of the plot didn't make sense but nethertheless I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

Really really good movie. Very interesting, and makes u really think. A movie called "The Divide" has a very very close idea like this. And also has that dark feel to it when it gets into this movie ull see what i mean. I enjoyed this movie, im not sure why its not 4 stars it should be at least 4 stars. Its interesting, scary, "eye opening" (yes a blind movie is eye opening). It shows some truths about how society would eventually react to certain situations. Watch it. 4.5/5

Really unconventional postapocalyptic story. disagree about the point of it showing the dark side of humanity, its only showing how reliant we are on sight and that people arnt cured of being douch bags just by losing their sight. worth a watch 9/10

A realistic look at how people would react in such a situation. Those with no moral beliefs, and, the power to overcome someone to satisfy their own selfish needs, will inevitably do so. However, I found the movie a bit drawn out for my liking. Good acting. (2.5/5).

This is a strong movie. Touching, eye-opening...disturbing in many ways. From the first moment there isn't a time where you can relax, even though the movie is slow. It shows a dark side of the human race. As some were saying, no, there is no blood everywhere, but I don't think that's the point of the movie either. It's not exactly that type of a violent movie, all the violence goes directly to your mind, while some parts don't even seem to make sense until your brain starts working on it. This definitely isn't a movie that will give you a good-night's sleep, it's troubling, strange, hard to watch, and yet, so perfectly done that I can't stop telling you to watch it. In my opinion, this movie is on the same level as Children of men. I mean, I really enjoyed this one. Dramatic, thrilling and very different in a point of sense.
