There are certain films i would have to make people watch if they had never seen Asian gangster film and Itchi the Killer would be right up there at the number one spot. Takashi Miike pulls out all the stops in this eye watering jaw dropping feast.

Just a tiny bit overrated. While it is by no means terrible, it can damn sure get a little boring. People had told me that it was "disturbing". I must have missed something. ..... maybe they meant it's "disturbing" because it doesn't live up to your expectations.3/5

A nonconformist cartoon-like ode to ultra-violence, sadism and masochism. Some may enjoy this as a stylish and tightly wound genre piece. Thoroughly shocking. But I couldn't stop watching it.

Really liked it. It was kind of all over the place in the beginning. Very graphic and gory at times. It's really nice to take a trip away from the same old "Hollywood" cliche flicks. A very different kinda strange movie that's not for the general public. Gotta love Japenese movies....... 8/10

I personally liked this movie, but as everyone says extreme levels of gore.

This was a good watch, nothing special but it was worth the time. However i dont understand why its regarded as gruesome or sickening, i never seen anything in this movie that i havent seen somewhere else before. Ive been trying to find a movie that will turn my stomach, this one was recomended along with a few others but they have all been disappointing on that front, im going to watch 'A Serbian Film' next, maybe that will work. i gave this movie 4/5

The most violent film I've ever seen. There are many innovative ways to kill someone in this film. Takashi Mike directs and stars in the film. He's bad ass.

His movie is awesome. If your into torture, gore, and just a bunch of weird stuff, this is the movie for you. I've seen it a handful of times and enjoy it every time I watch it. I'd give it 4.5/5 Stars.

Fantastic flick. What a great premise and just strange enough to keep you drawn in. Some don't like that its in Japanese, but its a Japanese movie with English subs, so as not to take away from its meaning. Better than Kill Bill and most American films these days. 10/10

Good flick,abit messed up but worth a watch though.

It's a well-made movie and in general I liked it and will watch it again, but some of it is pretty tough to watch. Quite a bit of violence against women: adorable Asian women.
