I love all tim burton movies he a genius... 10/10

This movie epitomizes everything wrong with Hollywood.... Well maybe not everything but a couple big things. First of all, the CGI and the special effects completely ruin the movie for me. Maybe little kids and the mentally challenged think all the pretty colors and hideous little squirrels look cool, but I'm not one of them. Secondly, the need/feel to remake a full-blown-goddamn-classic of a movie only to tarnish it's name needs to stop. If you want to show you're kids a good movie, watch the orginal version. This pile of dinosaur-dung isn't worth your money or time. 2/10

10/10 Johnny Depp did a wonderful job.

It took me 8 yrs to get around to watching this film and I have to say; I really should have watched it earlier! It was just as good as the original but with an added something: Johnny Depp! That guy is amazing! He did such a fantastic job at portraying Willy Wonka: crazy but lovable! I would definitely recommend watching!

Love Johnny Depp and Love Tim Burton 8/10

I've seen the old version and I've seen this version numerous times. To me they are both great movies in their own right. Johnny Depp brings something to this movie that was not in the old version....sex appeal. Even though he is as white as a sheet.:))

Me and my younger sister could watch this a hundred times and not get bored, johnny depp really does bring a different type of Willy Wonka to life (an amazing one I may add) 9/10

It's a fantastic movie, all you people moaning about it being psycopathicness... What did you expect from a Johnny depp movie, all his characters are overexagerated, it's what he does best, they're not going to make the story exactly the same as the one before, that would be pointless, in my opinion I like this one better because it's more exiting and I love Johnny Depp, the first one is great no doubt about it, Gene Wilder is more subtle and believable as Willy Wonka, he played the part great aswell, but in the end they're are 2 totaly different movies, yet they are the sme movies, that is what I love, superb acting, unique storyline, disapointing for some, but personally I loved it! I'd give it 9/10. Deffinatley worth a watch for any Johnny Depp fan, but don't watch it if all you're going to do is compare it to the original, and complain about the storyline, forget the first one and enjoy this.

I love Johnny Depp, and I did enjoy this, but on it's own. The original is far better and has the feel that the book gave when read. I didn't feel like this was for kids either. It was darker and had a kind of creepy feel to it. Still, there were some funny moments and Johnny Depp really put an interesting spin on Wonka's character. I gave it 3 stars, only because it didn't ring as a kid's movie for me and the original hit the mark for staying true to the book.

Well, here goes! I just finished watching this HORRIBLE film and I am mad. I think Tim Burton needs to get off that same old tired horse he has been riding for years and put out something original and entertaining. Even Johnny Depp could not save this film and why Mr. Burton thought he could improve on Gene Wilder's version is beyond me. He must be falling into the -I am a GREAT artist and can do no wrong because everyone around me tells me so- trap. He always seems to be the critics darling boy. Even last year's Frankenweenie was just same old Tim Burton but it was more entertaining than this film. I would not recommend this film to anyone. 0/10

Johnny Depp looks so weird in this. It's a great movie and he's a great actor! I think I like this better than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Great movie for everybody!

Eh, movie was okay I guess. Somehow Johnny Depp looks like Michael jackson to me.

This is a brilliant film that leaves you with a sense of wonderment and a sweet tooth. Depp's talent really shines through. 5 stars

This version is closer to the book. I loved Johnny Depp as Willy Wanka but didn't like them turning the umpa lumpa's into Rap stars

the only thing this one is missing is ole Slugworth. just as great and enjoyable to watch as the original.10/10
