Watch The Man Who Cried: A Russian Jewish father emigrates to America in 1923, with a promise to send for his mother and young daughter when he is settled. When his village is burned in a pogrom, his mother is killed and his daughter is separated from other youngsters who make it to the port to emigrate. One of my favorites since I was a teen. Prolly helped that it had a sex scene! hehehe Well, the picture is outstanding and really puts you in that time and place.

One of my all time favorites. Great story and beautiful music throughout the film...not sure about some of the casting, John Turturro is a bit out of place here, but most of the actors did an amazing job.

Really intense and dramatic, especially the ending. Good acting and plot. I really liked it. Well worth watching.
