My favorite line in movie history is in this film, in the very beginning the psychotic Peggy Gravel (my goddess Mink Stole) gets a wrong number phone call and she screams into the phone "HELLO? WHAT NUMBER ARE YOU CALLING? YOU DIALED THE WRONG NUMBER! SORRY??? WHAT GOOD IS THAT!?!? HOW CAN YOU EVER REPAY THE THIRTY SECOND YOU HAVE STOLEN FROM MY LIFE!?!?" and goes on and on and then the adventure REALLY kicks into high gear when her 400 pound black maid Grizzelda helps her murder her husband by hiking up her skirt and suffocating him to death with her bare ass!! ...and THEN the movie gets REALLY weird! - Keep a look out for the reverse transsexual dyke who cuts off her new penis and throws it outside so the dog can come running and eat it.... AWESOME CLASSIC PIECE OF JOHN WATERS TRASH CINEMA, he made this one without Divine since that actor/ress was starring in theater in New York so it's the only one of his films from that era Divine wasn't in. Get your buzz on or whatever and check this epic bit of sleaze cinema out- and the famous cunnilingus lesbian scene: "COME ON! EAT IT PEGGY! EAT IT!!!!!!!!" "I CAN FIT MY WHOLE HEAD IN HERE!" LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

One of the greatest John Waters flicks. I am torn on this or Pink Flamingos as my personal faves. I usually play John Waters movies at parties when I want people who are sticking around to leave. The ones who stick around end up being good friends. I measure people by their reactions to John Waters films. Must watch movie for art/intellectual types. Not for "normal" folk.
