Val Kilmer was definitely not the right choice for this movie. All in all, it took the Batman spirit and turned it into a broadway show. Way too colorful, a circus clown ensemble. But that's just my opinion. If you liked the Keaton movies, I'd recommend the newer ones with Bale, those have a better vibe to it than this confetti spectacle. 5/10

It wasn't as dark as "Batman Returns", but it was still bittersweet with the absence of Michael Keaton. All in all, though, give Val Kilmer credit for stepping in and doing a commendable job in a role that Keaton made his own.

Stick to Burton's and Christopher Nolan's version of Batman... these movies are no good.

Not as good as the other Batman films that i've seen, but the acting was very good and the film was very entertaining. I think this one was more of a comedy than Tim Burton's or Nolans, I like their versions much better. It's worth a watch if you're a big Batman or superhero fan.

Does Joel Schumacher hate Batman?! The Batman movies he directed are vile, despicable, shameful, representations of the Batman. He is a good director, why would he make what is obviously a mockery of the character. It makes you wonder if he did it on purpose.

It was a lot of fun 2 watch bt way too cheesy for a Batman movie. This is nt the way 2 make a Batman movie. Except 4 Val KIlmer,who doesn't fit the role of Batman,every1 else overacts. I can't beleive even Tommy Lee Jones does that. NIcole Kidman's hot bt annoying as hell. This was a movie that could hv been great bt Joel Schumacher ruined it. Fun 4 one time watch o for children.

Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carey, Drew Barrymore, and Nicole Kidman were the only good thing about tsis batman movie. But since I love Batman, I'll continue watching this movie.

Saw this movie as a kid and hated it. And nothing has changed Carey was a total idiot doing what Care does best. The Riddler was a criminal Genius not some clown prancing around. This is the hugest crapfest in the world. Batman has undergone many evolutions since 1939 and this was never one of them. Just another example of tons of comicbook story-lines lines to choose from and somehow we still can't make a good movie.

As a huge Batman fan, it hurts to say that I can see why I liked this so much more when I was a kid. It's cheesy like the old Adam West TV series, but I DO NOT blame Schumacher, he has admitted that his movie disappointed fans of darker Batman adaptations, saying that the film was made intentionally marketable (or "toyetic") and kid-friendly. He claims to have been under heavy pressure from the studio to do so; however, he admits full responsibility and, even apologizes to any fans who were disappointed.

Gotta love these old Batman films, the sets and costumes were truly "artful".The cartoony amounts of glamour, and almost ravetastic lighting used just made these movies so worth it!!

This was a weird batman movie. Almost funny. The Dark Night is was better. This is still worth seeing if you like batman and the acting was alright. Nicole Kidman's acting was the best. Worth seeing.

Very good movie--Val Kilmer is a pretty good Bruce Wayne/Batman--and remeber chicks love the car! LOL. Chris ODonnell is a good Robin--but Nic Kidman is the one I didn't buy in her role. She's a good actor but this role and her did not mix for me. 4.9/5
