muahahaa the first movie i lay my eyes on Alan Rickman. About the movie, i still think its one of the most romantic movies with an awesome soundtrack ;)

never get tired of watching this version of Robinhood all over again.

whenever a film is remade , the director changes things to there taste , so each version brings something different to the story , one is no better than the other as each one is unique in it's own way .each comment says this one is better than that one , it's your own personal choice .. sometimes a remake is better than the original one ( example ) true grit john wayne 1969 a classic no dought .. true grit Jeff Bridges 2010 , is no whay as good as the original one , BUT the Jeff Bridges 2010 version is more accurate interpretation of the 1968 novel by Charles Portis ... anyway robin hood prince of thieves is an amazing film ,first rate director & actors .....10/10 ......... robin hood is truely a fasinating an romantic story , that will never get boring ...........

Fantastic adventure film, and much better than the one with Russell Crowe but nowhere near as good as the original 1938 film. I'm not a fan of Kevin Coster usually, but I actually kind of liked him in this one. Definately worth watching.

Nice adventure movie, already a classic. A bit wooden acting for moments, especially Morgan's, but it works regardless. Plus 30 seconds of Sir Sean at the end. 8/10

You can't help but love this movie.

I tried to like this film, I really did but it was so poorly done I barely made it through. Costner's Robin Hood was brooding and introverted while Rickman's sheriff was not in the same century as the rest of the film. Sometimes it's not a good idea to do a remake no matter what your friends say. 2.5
