So I finally gave in and watched all 6 Star Wars movies! It's weird because I recognized all the settings from the video game and much of the plot from TV shows and memes and such. I loved every minute of these films and my favourites are definitely the first three films. I can only hope Disney does the series justice with the next 3.

I grew up with these Star Wars movies and I must say that I was disappointed about the added cgi effects. it took away from the original feel of the movies and I would rather watch the original version.

The story of my life. ..along time ago. Decades a head of it's time, A New Hope is one of the greatest films then, now, or ever. 10/10

There are only three of these that are truly magic, only those are worth watching and remembering. The first time I've seen episodes IV-VI I was seven years old. Now I'm almost 30 and have seen it about a hundred times. It never gets old. :D

i had this special edition downloaded and the movie cut off. thank goodness this was available. I finished it and yes, there are new things in it. May the Force be with you...

I have to agree with oBLACKIECHANoo, the originals are far more superior in every aspect, except for the CGI and Special effects allthough they wernt bad in the originals.

I wasn't alive when the original film came out. Thus I can only imagine the impact such an innovative science fiction story like this had on the fans of the genre. Despite this being the edited re-issue version, it still holds the essence of the original release in it, therefore it's a wonderful movie, that certainly changed the course of cinema history, especially the science fiction niche. And the ending never fails to spring tears...

Hey, If I take a 1957 Ford Thunderbird and re-pollster the seats doesn't mean its not a classic any more, just means it was updated to make it look better.

The laser fighting scences were horrific to the point that I had to laugh, lol lol... anyway, this was my first time seeing this movie... amazing how that star ship control center looks way too close to our "moon"... i see what they were trying to say!

still one of the greatest blockbuster movies. Don't forget to check all of Harrison Fords movies on the advanced search. There is quite a list and of course this is a 10/10

Don't you DARE watch any other Star Wars movie before watching this one. You just can't beat the classics and if you think you can, at least give it a shot of watching and get an idea of how Star Wars was interpreted at first. Definitely one of my first fav movies of all time.

This one was really good! I think Episode 3 is my favorite so far though. This had great acting and a good plot. Love the characters! A MUST watch! 4.5/5.

Star Wars will last for several generations like James Bond. It's too good to let fade away. While Disney wouldn't have been my first choice to have make a new trilogy... The legacy should continue.

From the opening credits I am transported right back too when I was six and first saw this in the cinema. Wonderful, wonderful feeling. One of the best, if not the best movie ever... Star Wars changed everything.
