WOW!Loved this movie!Throw in some history,treasure hunting,cool music,lots of humor and action,a plot with unexpected twists,good acting with a wonderful script.This is a classic adventure movie if ever there was one. I I liked it so much I went out and got the DVD which is well worth it for the additional information it contains on the movie's making.See how sharp eyed you are meanwhile! 5/5

Like Cussler's novels, always a little far-fetched but always fun. Good movie for action/comedy fans - and Penelope looks fine

I always love a good action adventure movie that can distract me for 2hrs. This is one of those, check it out for a good waste of time.

Last time i saw it i really had a bad memory of this, and i still do. Cruz ruins the movie as most chicks do, playing on their looks or gets a part for one thing. Boring and doesn't even come close to Indiana Jones or any other cool adventure movie. If you like brainless action and boring movies then this is the one to waste your time on 5/10

Those who loved National Treasure & Indiana Jones should watch this. Good movie. Lotsa humour & gunfire galore! Enjoyable! 8/10

4.5/5 This was a good entertaining movie! Quote from Qaisar " Its fast-paced and witty. Beautiful scenery and Indiana Jones-like action mixed with humor and drama." lol couldn't have said it better!! I will probably watch this again in the future so NOT just a 1 time watch 4 me. Very enjoyable, I laughed and was smiling at the end.

You'll like this movie if you like Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Van Helsing, pretty much any Stephen Sommers movie, or Harry Potter. The acting is decent, and even though I'm not the biggest Mathew McConaughey fan I think he did a good job. Mathew and Peter Zahn play off eachother well. Being a huge Penelope Cruz fan, I liked her a lot in this film. Her character was very determined, and she wasn't the typical "damsel in distress" role. If nothing else, I garuntee you'll love the cinematography. If they ever used a green screen, I couldn't tell. The shots were well done, and the music was very fitting to the mood and location of the film. All in all I thought it was a decent, well acted, beautiful, and underrated.

while very little of it is from the actual book and series its still a very good movie and worth the watch.
