Awesome movie, with great actors. I have watched it twice already.

bloody good film, thoroughly enjoyed it, didnt realise it was about real people. defo worth a watch, tom hardy and shia played their roles really well.

Waited to watch this...probably a couple months over due but I'm glad I finally watched it. Amazing attention-grabbing film 9.5/10

great movie. love these kind. it was hard 2 hear what they were saying at times but really good movie.

Saw this at the cinema and was a little disappointed. Well made film, superbly acted and an interesting story but just not as enjoyable as I'd hoped. Gary Oldman's character, potentially one of the most interesting, is barely in it. Tom Hardy is great in everything recently but Guy Pearce absolutely steals this movie with a portrayal which rates up with some of the most loathsome movie characters of all time.

Great movie, but the last big scene was ridiculous...very stupid.

Damn good movie, enjoyed it right to the very end.

Good flick. A lesser collaboration between John Hillcoat and Nick Cave (screenplay) than the brilliant "The Proposition" - mainly because of the hastily concocted resolution in this one. But, aside from that - great acting (though, I wish we had a little more Gary Oldman in there), especially by Guy Pearce as the perpetually gloved villain.

Excellent film. Was awesome seeing LaBeouf in more of an adult role, Tom Hardy was amazing as usual, and Pearce really nailed his role. Needs more Gary Oldman, he always brings something incredible to films, even if his role was smaller. 8/10

Good film, Keeps you entertained until the end

This film is gorgeous: the sets, lighting, costumes, everything feels real and looks so cohesive, it transports you and doesn't distract. Tom Hardy is a KNOCKOUT! Gary Oldman is criminally underused. Shia LaBeouf is seriously out-classed by a top-notch ensemble.

good movie could have done with another 30 mins getting more depth from some of the characters to make a great movie.

Good movie. Some of you might wanna wait for a better copy tho, the sound quality isnt that great. But deffo worth a watch.

Instead...I really didn't like it....it's full of stereotypical situations,a badly written and directed story,poorly acted by a bunch of very good(?)actors...they move like living dead,with infantile dialogues,the good guys so stupid they are scary,the bad guys far too comical,a parody of retarded villains...the movie doesn't capture in any way the bootlegging period or the lawlessness of the prohibition era...and the final shootout is an indecently plastic nonsense..2/5.

it wasn't exactly as i thought it would be, but still a good movie. i give it three and a half stars. i'd watch it again. it also caputured that era real well.

This was a great film, with strong performances from the cast (and some awesome metamorphoses in a few cases, as well). My one thought is that it felt a little underdeveloped or rushed in some instances

yeah i think all the 10/10 and oscar comments are a tad optimistic lol but it was a good film. Quite a bit of blood and that sort of stuff considering what the films about.

Had to watch it again love this movie n the cast .. also Tom Hardy is beautiful handsome man lmao ;)
