I'd also like to add I didn't care for the whole give-Jack-a-romantic-interest bit. The chemistry was quite annoying and painfully predictable. Judging by other reviews I'm not the only one who thought Miss Cruz was the cause of the butchering of the film's potential.

I thought the movie was excellent..the plot was in no way predictable.The humor did not over-ride the depth of emotion displayed by the 'non-devious' characters..the scenes were gorgeous-well of course I'd say that I'm living in the Caribbean :) The movies's ending has just enough suspense 2 want u watch the 2nd coming up,but nt so much 2 put a damper on ur mood.

Not a disappointment!Loved the gesture Jack does at the end XD and love Blackbeard's sword!

I love the scene with Jack when he is saying "Did everybody saw that because I'm not doing it again" xD

I actually had 2 streams running, it was not that difficult to get them into sync, one with sound and one with pic. It was an OK movie, but this was the poorest of the movies so far. But its worth a watch.

Cant wait to get DVD copy of this film i love all the Pirates of the Caribbean films have em all on dvd and bluray

I was hoping for a different story : those mermaids really screwed the movie with their tear drops! its a bit too childish when most of the story were based on the mermaids.. worth a watch though. 6/10

Not the best in the Pirates Of The Caribbean series, but still a very good movie, I find it's not as good as the other three, because I found it lacked something, just couldn't figure out what but it was still very good mind you Johnny Depp always does an amazing job, over all I give this a 4/5
