It does start off slow so expect that but, then it picks up and then you go: ok I get it. Then the story ends up being sad. There are some jumps and creepiness is in there. The half and half thing is ewwww..Liked it! 4/5

I love the pang brothers, this story was pretty good, with twists and scary parts...even really weird parts but probably not weird in chinese culture...very sad as well...I liked it

This was a pretty good film and for those that think that something should always be happening before the 20 to 30 minute mark don't have the patience for a movie to set the tone for me to pay attention to anything they have to say about a movie. There are a lot of great horror movies that the really good stuff doesn't start until after 30 to 40 minutes that is why they are normally very well known. Most of the movies that start of scaring the crap out of you in the first 20 minutes are normally crap movies and end up easily forgotten after 6 months to a year, if not less. Anyway, I rate this movie a 3/5 and think that you should watch it for yourself and decide if you like it or not. Well hope you enjoy the movie. Later
