I was watching The Real World Retro this past weekend and enjoyed reliving Season 3 Real World San Francisco. I watched it for 10 seasons before the cast started getting ridiculous and it wasn't worth watching anymore but season 3 always stayed close to my heart because of Pedro and the closeness of the housemates. Pedro will always be an inspiration and it still hurts to think that a beautiful soul was gone so early in life. RIP Pedro Zamora. I am so glad he was reunited with the rest of his family before he died. That just tore me up when they shot the scene of the 5 brothers looking at their father through the gate. I can't imagine how that felt for the parents. I am glad MTV chronicled Pedro's life. he will always live on.

what a beautifully sad and uplifting story...I was a child when he died, and I knew nothing about him then...now, though, I find that he is very relevant in my life--I'm HIV negative, yes, but I've had risky and unprotected sex in the past when I was suffering from depression and feeling suicidal...now as I'm in recovery, and having watched "Pedro", I wish I could have known someone like him when I was going through my dark and hopeless period--very inspirational movie, and I hope Pedro and his mother are together somewhere, somehow...

I'm not really an emotional person, but this movie made me cry twice. The bond that Pedro and his sister shared is probably the most touching part of the whole movie for me.
