vaguely impressed by stuart townsend....the book was better, but still good 8.5/10

good movie for its time

A romance story for teenagers. SO disappointing.

Apparently vampire movies have given up any idea of trying to be scary and are now concentrating on trying to be cool and sexy, resulting in over stylised claptrap. You have to go back as far as Salem's Lot to find a decent one which remembered that it was supposed to be a horror movie. 30 Days Of Night being the only possible exception.

Iv seen this a few times before and every now and then i watch it again. 7/10

Love this film, perhaps one of my all time favourites. It's sexy, dark, vampiric and fun - a slightly more innocent version of True Blood.

One of the best soundtracks in movie history I think. This film is so underrated for it is certain to prove itself a Classic of this century. The acting is very good and the characters are incredibly memorable. 4/5. - btw, Yes, I have read the book...read it more than 15 yrs ago... in fact,I've read ALL of the Vampire Chronicles and I think everyone should get over the fact that it is not exactly the same.. THEY NEVER ARE! I am a dedicated fan of the Vampire Chronicles to boot...but I still think this film makes it for the millennium. Bravo!

I think I only liked this movie because of how Enchanting Akasha was. Aaliyah was great in this role. 3/5

Didn't want to see this movie at first but when I actually watched it I loved it! Storyline was a good, great acting, dark and very goth..just like a vampire movie should be. Loved, loved Aalyiah she was gorgeous. 4.5/5

They took the first two books, changed a ton, and well...Stuart Townsend is hot.

This movie took two of Rice's books, smushed them together, left out a lot of important things, and changed a lot of others. I love S.T as Lestat, but I truly wish they would have made it as close to the books as the first movie. Other than that...It was good.

It's slow but, I suppose it's a alright movie is your a vampire fan.

Loved the movie, though it's funny how different they made Lestat compared to the previous movie. I just loved the soundtrack for this movie as well!

Pretty awesome for a vampire movie

Totally under-rated, SO good, I saw this for the first time in theaters. Everyone should see this, ESP if ur into ANY type of vamp movies, its sumthing u can watch over n over again and not get sick of it, not to mention the soundtrack is pretty great. So strange that Aaliyah died right after shooting this, like in real life...and so sad, she was beautiful and a pretty amazing actress.
