Watch Frost/Nixon: Writer Peter Morgan's legendary battle between Richard Nixon, the disgraced president with a legacy to save, and David Frost, a jet-setting television personality with a name to make, in the story of the historic encounter that changed both their lives. For three years after being forced from office, Nixon remained silent. But in summer 1977, the steely, cunning former commander-in-chief agreed to sit for one all-inclusive interview to confront the questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting Frost as his televised confessor, intending to easily outfox the breezy British showman and secure a place in the hearts...

A very enlightening view on the subject of Watergate. A powerful movie emotionally where Michael Sheen and Frank Langella both convey deep thoughts through mere glances. Ace acting!

Very good. The performances by both leading actors are excellent and engaging. There are a couple of points in the middle where the pace slows a little too much but don't let that deter you; this is a satisfying movie to watch.

I expected this to be slight. V. pleasantly surprised. Thoroughly engaging duel of minds. I'm a Nixon admirer - Langella's performance really does him justice (even if physically he looks more like Brezhnev than Tricky Dicky, never mind). Outstanding!

Excellent character study of both Nixon and Frost with great performances from both. It felt a lot like a Rocky II but instead of Rocky making his inevitable 12th round comeback (coincidentally there are 12 interviews) after getting the crap beat out of him in the other 11 (Frost getting manhandled before the last interview), it's Frost getting Nixon to confess the Watergate cover up in the final interview (12th round knockout). Just an observation I made. Recommended if anyone has an interest in politics.

Just an observation I made, history on film is bullshit, ya gotta be there to really know. Recommended if anyone has an interest in sideways politics.

A great film. Nixon Knew at the time he got it lightly and the interview gave him some closure in every scence. 9/10.

Cut throat, intelligent and very well acted. Casting was spot on as were the character interactions and dialogue. Addressed a historical topic with unbiased tact and high production value. I particularly enjoyed the ending. 9.5/10.
