I think this was a pretty sweet film and i do agree with people that are saying itwas slow at the start, cos it was. i think a solid 8.9/10 :)

loved it. pretty awesome soundtrack too, i hope they do a sequel, not just for the chance to see those two hot blonde chicks again (and that wicked chimera) but also because i think it was good enough to get a sequel.

Absolutely worth 2 and a bit hours of my life and I'd definitely give up some more of it on a sequel.... Spectacular special effects and a good old rip roaring story line.... GIVE ME MORE!!!

I thought this was a good film, it had some nice special effects. I little slow start but once the story gets going it takes off. The ending was action packed and exciting to say the least.

Still a great watch the second time around. One of the best teen-action films that's worth mentioning.

So glad I waited for a good copy. I liked the movie and wish it would have been a single and not the beginning of a series. Its a bit too much like Twilight as far as the young-adult demographic. Still, the CGI was fantastic and I did like the premiss.

started a bit slow but came good about 45 mins in the next instalment may have more action but a good movie 8/10

i just read the third book in this series and it is all kinds of awesomeness.... if they don't make the sequel (the power of six) then a tv show could be great...

They take a good sci/fi story and then give it the 'twilight' treatment, is nothing sacred anymore.There's enough angsty teenager drivel in this movie to fill an episode of 'Dawsons Creek',the lead character is just some whiney,self obsessed,hormone driven teenager with no regard for anything apart from his precious feelings,all fans of sci/fi should watch this movie and weep,for the 'twilight' treatment has come to the sci/fi genre.....NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo!

ok movie, not much in the plot development but in all honesty the way it was made leaves a chance for the sequel to do insane numbers with a slightly larger budget as its left wide open and number 6 is HOT.

Looking forward to a sequel.
