Much better than I expected. The wolf they created was gorgeous. Very well played out and an unexpected twist as to whom the wolf really was. It definitely kept my interest. 8/10!

This movie surprised me. I knew I would like it, but at the same time, I wasn't quite so sure. But from the very start, it had me hooked. Some parts were a tad bit predictable, but still, overall, it was wonderful. I guess because I went in not really expecting it to be a blockbuster & just to see what it was REALLY about. But I think what clenched it for me was the ending. The ending for ME PERSONALLY was very sweet. I just loved it! For me, this will be a classic, whether it actually is or not in the general public, I guess we will have to see! But just watch it for yourself & make your own decision...Just go into it expecting to be entertained, at minimum, and maybe you'll be surprised!:-) 5/5

Bad at best...Why is Hollywood so afraid of originality? Since the 10th minute I knew who the wolf is by a simple "blood over love" method that hollywood never grows too tired off even tho its watchers have,20 years ago. The werewolf is horribly done,it seems like Jacob Black's cousin and while at "black" wtf is with black and asian knight? Do you even know how retarded that is? Its one thing to let your immagination go free but a whole another to make a movie more scary by making it realistic. And I honestly think I was wrong in the first post,this movie is for my 9 yearold brother but I'll rather read him the story then let the other kids pick on him as an "american idiot" when he says werewolf insted of wolf and that red Riding Hood was blonde.

I love the movie, suspect everyone of being the wolf but you don't suspect the one that actually is the wolf! like the story line, its the story of red riding hood but still very differed.

WOW! That was incredibly.... bad! Tedious. Another twilight clone, set in a dubious past, with only one redeeming feature - Gary Oldman does a great job as the unlikable/understandable purge. Other than him, trite story, wannabe teen stars and mediocre cgi. 100 minutes I will never get back again

Wow! I love it! I am seeing Red Riding hood in a different light now. 8/10... I'll definitely see it again in HQ version.

Was a good movie, seen it a few times.

Not a bad retelling of a classic. I enjoyed it, but I love about anything with Amanda. I was shocked to see only a 12% rating for this on Rotten Tomatoes, I've seen complete crap movies with a higher rating. On a personal note, it never ceases to amaze me that 'men of God' can always justify murder, although after thousands of years I should be use to it. Amanda was brilliant, but she was the only one, and the film had great cinematography but lacked some in script/dialogue, 7/10.

Gary Oldman saved the cast. No one else could act there, not for their lives. I mean, they're not all bad actors, some are actually good, but this one movie didn't do. Very disappointing, the story lacked vividness and sense, and the ending "twist" is predictable from the first half. Still, it's understandable why this film's garnered mild success: it's easy to perceive the Twilight mindless formula, so obvious from the movie's synopsis (and later confirmed if you manage to watch it till the end). That, of course, is the superficial appeal to it. But that's just what I got from it. And even though I didn't like it, go ahead and try it, you might.

WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!! this was garbage in epic proportions; badly acted and badly written! i was looking forward to it based on gary oldman's participation, but this was worse than crap. avoid it at all costs - pay someone to keep you away from it if need be. an hour and a half of life wasted. $0/$10

i thought this movie was well done. a very good take on the fairy tale. in a who is it who done it type movie i am generally pretty good at figuring it out early in it, but this left you guessing till nearly the end. it is more of a mystery/suspense than horror as it is not graphic, it had it's moments of action, a good story line, and attention to scenery, background, and camera work.

Bad acting is just the start. OK, Im going to post some spoilers here, but I have to say not only does this film contain possibly the stupidest dance ever invented by mankind, but the plot was too idiotic. First of all, if the werewolf just wanted to leave town and bring his family with him, why did not he just ask them when in human form? That would draw less attention, and not get it killed. Instead the idiot thing decides the best course of action would be to attack people at the festival, making sure that the werewolf hunter knows that he is around? He could have asked when he was a man, if the family member agreed, he could have quietly turned and gently bit them, then they could have all waited for Father Solomon to get bored and leave. If, after that he still wanted to punish people, he could do so without turning them into werewolves so they could fight back. But instead he frightens everyone half to death? That is hardly the way to convince people to accept his gift. And asking her in front of all those people in wolf form is pretty absurd too. If he wanted to, he could have just nipped her when she slept! OH, and the girl is a huge ass slut. She drinks down some hootch, then follows Peter into a barn after he was flirting with a chick? Gross.

l find this movie stupid l don't know why l'm watching it, and besides it's just a fairy tale different between the books of it, but this one has gore, & romance. l only watched half of this. l hope old fairy tales like this turns into a gay fucking fairy tale.
