I liked this movie also, but I didn't like the ending. yes he got what he deserved but, I would want to know where my child's body is at. My daughter read the book and she can't wait to watch the movie.

This was a great film. Stanley Tucci was amazing and I think I would have disliked it a little if they used a different actor. I second guessed myself on recognizing at first. Does Susan Sarandon age or is she somehow magically locked in time? She looked great, maybe with some help, but who cares. Mark Whalberg was moving and he continues to impress me. The little girl was fantastic also. All around great movie and I agree with almost all of the other comments. This movie was way understated. I watched the Oscars and don't remember hearing anything about this one. It should have won something. The Hurt Locker....ahhh, c'mon. After seeing this I'm even more irritated than before.

Heartbreakingly beautiful film peter jackson does it again 10/10!

This was a great story, Well paced and downright creepy in parts. One of Jackson's better films without a doubt. After watching this and I had stopped crying, I felt like I shouldnt take my life for granted so much as I do not really know how long my journey in this place will last. Very sad and very emotional throughout and visually stunning. 10/10

Beautiful movie! Wahlbergh's acting left alot to be desired but overall a stunning movie! I highly recommend the book!!! 9/10

I felt sad watching this movie, at certain points it made me want to try and do something, I wanted to help out. Mostly with the beat down of the man, but hey we all have parts to play. Sit down with your sensitive side it is a good movie.

This was a beautiful movie.....very sad, but visually stunning! As far as the plot, it started out good but the ending ruined the whole movie for me.

It was a great movie and it brought tears to my eyes As one member said here, it really should be played to younger children to know what the world is made of and what could happen when you talk to people you don't know and agree to do what they ask you to do. The only two disadvantages were the trailer and the ending. The trailer was WAYYY too spoiling and the ending was good but should've been better than this, like something stronger and deeper. 9.5/10

i thought the fantasy cgi scenes or whatever the hell it was was ridiculous, the story really depressing and im sorry an icicle? really? on the plus side that english/indian love interest was hot and sairose thingymebob acted brilliantly

Man this was a good movie. Very sad. The ending kind of pissed me off at first but then it really grew on me. Not a very fast paced movie but it didn't need to be to keep people's attention. Guess what, I don't think Mark Wahlberg was that bad in this. The cinematography and acting are definately the film's too biggest strengths. Strongly recommend a watch. 9/10

Wonderful. Far better then the book. In the book the girl is just a bunch of nothing, and you don't care when she gets killed. But the movie I cried! Perfect editing.
