Bad movie. Terrible, almost non-existent plot. Decent acting. Ridiculous hook.

Really exceeded my expectations. It seems like it would be a typical action movie in the Mad Max mold, but it actually has a point to make about the significance of, and possible uses for, the book that Eli guards so carefully. If you like a well-made dystopian action movie with some messages and metaphors, this will be it.....

though it is very good looking, stylish, good cinematography, enjoyable well done fight scenes with good special effects and different story but the plot and screenplay is completely weak ...... 2.5/5

IMO a must watch movie, one of the best Post Appocalypse films I have seen and certainly doesn't follow the usual plot lines. Denzil is superb and the casting of Frances de la Tour for her small part was inspired :) 9/10

Really good film. A friend recommended it to me after I had mentioned I read 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy (also a post apocolyptic film and novel) so just had a watch (version 3 is very good) and can give it an 8/10-worth viewing!

The best movie since judge dread lol and very slow. I might have enjoyed it more if i watched a crystal clear version of it. C'mon denzil your better than this. It did have good fight scenes though. 6/10

couldent stop watchin, good actors, very good story, after it was over first thing i thought was i hope they do a part 2 -- it seemed like it got more intresting at the end and needed more time - i think theres alot more story to tell, i love post-apocalyptic movies and this seemed to have more story then most --- well worth the watch

great movie denzel never fails and mila kunis is very good to look at

A really excellent ,enjoyable movie tat keeps us hooked and also teaches us a good lesson. The movie's message is something everyone should appreciate and it is well delivered. Denzel Washington is perfect as ever. Nt his best movie o the best post apocalyptic movie bt it is good enough.

the best post apocalyptic movie next to the road

This film was very good and first thing tomorrow i will get a bible and read it every day!!! I am just one of many that have forgot about the importance of the bible in this futuristic world whare mobiles phones and laptops and money have became more important than faith and dedication to GOD.....

I really thought this movie was cool. Personally, I think it makes a strong suggestion towards Christianity which may turn off some veiwers. But it is a movie, so that can be respected. With all of that being said, it has some great fighting scenes and a nice storyline....8/10...I think most should enjoy this one

great movie could watch again and again

One of Denzel's worst movies. No great storyline and gratuitous gore. Mila Kunis is hot though. If you want to watch a good post-apocalyptic movie, go watch I am Legend or Wall-E or something. Give this movie a pass! 2/5

I thought this movie was ok, I really expected more but can't really put my finger on what. The previews were really good. It was a great movie but not one I would watch over and over again. I guess I did like it, it just gave me a different feeling than I thought it would.

this movie is way better then the road i liked the road but this is the shit another great movie my denzel a must see for end of the world type movies
