very good film 9/10 little slow but a great watch

The best version of this story is the books they are awesome then the extended trilogy then the American version and the danish/Swedish tie for last... Read the books and get the extended trilogy.....

i saw this in the theatre. it was fantastic. BUT idk which version i liked better. the swedish was absolutely phenomenal but so was this. it's a very hard comparison. in any regard they r both AMAZING! 5/5

wow... what an amazing film.. suspenseful,intriguing,sad, extremely graphic, and yet it had a sort of beauty to it.... 10/10 a must watch film... those who watch will definitely enjoy.

Rooney Mara has her own unique way of bringing Salander to life, i'm sure she'll have a few golden globe nominations coming her way with that performance. just as good as the original imo. 9/10

I never really got on the whole stieg larsson band wagon and never really fancied this film much.. but i gave it a chance and i loved it and now im reading the books because im far too impatient to wait for the next two :P

I also think Noomi did a better job. Although in the books Lisbeths tattoo is only on her shoulder rather than her back.

cannot believe the ending. apart from that the movie was good. kudos to the revenge scenes! AWESOME! lol 3.5/5

Amazing film - complicated but interesting - Lizabeth (jewish) such vengeance - good acting, script but a hang ending.

The original is done in a foreign language with no subtitles and is very old film look colors are kinda dull and its like the 70's rented it accidentally & could not watch it was too hard & boring.

I have not read the books YET so I can't compare the two but the movie in itself was just amazing. It was truly a work of art; everything from the way it was filmed to the actors. The movie caused a wide range of emotions: laughter, thrill, uneasiness, and disgust. There are a couple rocky bits that I would have preferred not to watch but in the end, if those parts were not in the movie, the movie would not have had the meaning it did. Definitely a 10/10 in my book!

I didn't really like the movie. I couldn't pay attention after only a few minutes. It was boring to me.

Was veryyy skeptical because i am a firm beliver in orginals and redoing perfect is just unneccassary buuut after watching this redo movie had to stop being such a critic it is a good movie although the swedish version was much better (less is more not always the case in hollywood) enjoyed a couple new twists and the long flashbacks was a nice treat! overall good movie although Blomkvist was way to buff as daniel craig lol not to the book at all but o welllll 8/10 only next to the swedish verison which is a solid 10/10 hands down!

Even though the cam is woefully bad, the movie is very well done. The acting is wonderful and the characters and story are great. I haven't seen the original, or read the book, but I will now! 9/10
