Great movie! I didn't end how I was expecting/hoped but that's ok. Studio Ghibli should make a part two!

Wonderful animation with a great story, in fact, I was thinking that it was way to short. I was hoping for so much more in the end. And it was fabulously dubbed in English too. Well worth a peek. :)

Studio Ghibli movies never fail to disappoint with their animations, though this one could have had a firmer plot, the plot did not seem to grip me as it did in other movies, it has more emphasize on taking you to another world than on making a story that will keep you intrigued by the movie, lovely characters, lovely animation, lovely music; it could have been much more... 7/10

just like with howls moving castle and spirited away i expect it to be like some corny disney movie but once again im blown away. very great movie.

I use to have a VHS called the Borrowers. with John Goodman in it i think. i hope this is as good. loading to watch now.

Another great Studio Ghibli film 5/5.

just finished watching it. so heart warming story specially because in the end courage is was what helps you to keep moving forward no matter what. I really enjoyed! I think it's different of other ghibli movies but it was great. If you are a ghibli fan then you will definetely like this :3

It feels like ghibli ran out of money half way and cut out all the character developement def good but ghiblis second worst

awwwwwww 10/10 i recommend it for any adults and any children old enough to read subtitles. the end is not what i expected and it's even better for it. much more to think about

very well done i liked it. but i don't understand there is already an English version why is Disney making another English version. I guess Disney just wants to look like there doing anything.

while I was eager to see what would happen to this little family and the little boy who discovers their existence, instead you end up with THAT ending. Very disappointing. I gave it a 5/10, as I doubt I'd want to recommended it or watch it again, but I know many of the people who worked on this did their jobs well and visually, it works. But story wise, no. Overall, there was no clear direction to the story to come to a satisfying end. The end could have been the beginning because it was that anticlimactic. I would have preferred to spend 5 minutes reading a picture book.

You know a movie is excellent if it can move you to tears. As always, Studio Ghibli delivers. 10/10 Must watch for everyone.
