I prefer the series over the movie, okay movie though 3/5

errr.... this is the 1st one, at least the first movie of the series X-Files.

LOL... No kidding. They had me confused.

Dark, funny, paranoid, arbitrary, humming with tamped-down eroticism and in love with all things weird: That's the good news. Love The X-Files and loved the film.Much better then It's predecessor. 8.5/10

To me the movie and series is almost a legend. Love them both. I just now going back to rewatch the x files series. A bit bias but 10/10

I liked it, hadn't seen it in years, didn't remember much of it so the story wasn't ruined, like when you see a movie again and remember the end half way through....how did they get back from the antarctic?

This is great. Even though it goes a little off from the original tone of the series, I love the story, the plot and characters. No wonder the X Files is a huge success.

If you like the mythology from the X-Files series, you'll like this movie. 5/5 *****

there was a tv movie back in 1994 of the x files, it never went on to dvd or vhs, and it was never in theaters (of course) however the tv movie wasn't all that great, if you love the tv series you will hate the tv movie, however this one I found was amazing. About to watch the "I believe" one, don't know how it's going to be.
