Watch The Kid with a Bike: At about 11, the stubborn and impulsive Cyril seems on his way to delinquency: he has no mother, his father wants a new life without him, so he's in a foster institution. He searches for his father, wanting him and his bike. Through the intersession of Samantha, a hairdresser Cyril happens upon, he gets his bike back, and she offers to take him into her home on weekends. ...not easy for a young kid to play central character and make it convincing...this one finally gets there in the last ten minutes...worth a watch,3/5.

This was a sad story how anger and dysfunction can grow in a child who feels abandoned.I like how by trial and error the character begins to find stable footing as the film goes along.4/5

really liked this movie, had a great connection with the lead character and for an acting debut, well done. it doesnt do anything incredible to capture the audience it just portrays a life in a situation like this child is in. great direction writing and acting. 9/10
