Another awesome creature feature from the makers of The Host (Gwoemul). This one is more tenacious.

I actually enjoyed the film...not necessarily a 2nd watch but it was entertaining...

This was so bad it was hilarious. This mutant was sooo funny. But the actors are pretty when not way overacting...

Terrible subbs aside, seriously they made no sense what so ever, your better off just watching it with no subbs basically and you would still catch most of the plot. Anyway terrible acting, terrible plot, terrible CGI, and just basically bad all around. The only good thing about it is Ji-won Ha. A 5/10, suggest you watch The Host instead or pass on this.

ok RULE #1 of writing subtitles......Speak BOTH languages. this is a fun drinking game though if you drink everytime you think the subtitles have gone horribly wrong. thats about all i can offer this movie for.

Aside from the "messed up" subtitles the movie works as a solid monster flick. It gets a very high 3/5 stars from me and a definite 1 time watch recommendation. :D (spoiler alert: contains EPIC BOSS battle)

Korea have come out with some great films recently and this kick ass monster movie is no exception,the effects are top notch and despite the appalling translation of the subtitles it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out what's going on,10/10.

wow, i thought i could deal with bad subtitles cuz I really don't mind subs at all...but this was poorly translated to a new level, try it and see for yourself.

Pretty good monster film set on an oil rig platform out in the middle of the ocean.Similiar to the Host but better in storyline and action.The special effects and the Beast's look are well designed.3/5.Only flaw is bad subtitles but don't let that keep you from watching this well made creature feature.

I was really looking forward to this movie. For the company that did the most horrendous subtitles YOU should give the studio back their money. To the studio your movie didn't look cheaply made, could you not afford to hire some Americans to overdub this film. Will not watch again.

Pretty freaking awesome. I have to rate this 10/10 Couldn't grasp the story 100% due to it being japense, but I believe I got the jist. Awesome create/movie.

this was a great creature feature. I really enjoyed it and was surprised because the description made it sound like a boring oil digging movie...instead I was totally hooked and for me it reminded me of the old sci-fi underwater movies made in the 80s...great find!

Great creature feature. Love these types of movies.

I rather enjoyed it. Thought the creature looked like a deformed, four-legged catfish with all those tentacles coming out of it's bulbous head. Though I'd call it more of an action thriller with a bit of sci-fi than a horror. (I ended up finishing the last 3/4 of the movie on netflix though, it seemed to buffer faster). In any case, it is worth watching, especially if you enjoy korean films, and I do! ^

Loved this Korean Monster movie which topped the Korean Box Office when it was first released. I give the film 3 out of 5 stars. Don't miss the film. The film has to be seen with English Subtitles.
