Entertaining...wasn't quite what I expected tho. At least it had values integrated and not some retarded usless comedy (ugh). I felt cast did great job with their roles and worth the watch. 4 out of 5 for me.

This movie was not only funny but really beautiful, Paul Rudd's character makes you wish you'd encounter more people like that in your life. Awesome and totally recommend it.

I love Paul Rudd, but this movie was flat. Nothing really happened.

This film has such charisma attached to all the characters, really allows you to sympathize with each one. I had a few good laughs from random moments, but I'd have to say this is primarily a drama and comedy 2nd. Either way its a very well made film with a satisfying ending. 3.5/5.

Perfect casting and great acting can't ultimately save this movie. It's a charming, yet slow and plodding look at a brother who comes to stay with various family members after being released from prison. Paul Rudd is great as a 30-something hippie dude who is too open and honest for his own (and those around him) good. There are some fine chuckles here and there, but in the end, not enough comedic material or plot strength to hold up the movie. It reminded me a little of the Ben Stiller movie Greenberg, which was also about sibling tensions with Stiller playing a drifter looking after his brother's dog. However, Greenberg had more depth and bite, whereas Our Idiot Brother is superficial and light. 5/10

Rudd is always fantastic. It wasn't gut-busting hilarity but it was a good story. I recommend watching it if you like any of Paul Rudd's movies. 8.5/10

Pretty good movie. I put off watching it because i thought it was going to be a bit cheesy and over the top but actually it was put together great. It was a bit funny and a bit sad-- which made for a great watch.
