Dramatic feel into reality! Thats how it is, guys that arnt the devil WILL BE because you have to. Its the same as Growing up in the Ghetto, you will be what the street requires because you have to assimilate or its unlikely your survival.

yes, it does happen. i can tell you this from personal experience. the guards would set up fights and bet, and it didn't matter if you wanted to fight or not.

Fantastic prison movie... I dont think anyone can deny Val Kilmer has done some bad movies, but holy hell, when he Nails a roll he usually kills it.. If you liked him in this ..do yourself a favor and go see his movie "Wonderland" Epic true story.. And i think Kilmers best roll..better then The Doors i dare say

I'll try to put it into the perspective of the corrupt and greedy corporations, that govern the modern United States of America. Here it goes. {[( I, like many other companies, have taken advantage of a highly important President Bush piece of legislature. Your President George W. Bush, allowed private companies to buy your U.S. Federal Prisons for the sole purpose of modern day slave labor. I, like companies such as Haliburton, bought several of your prisons from the U.S. Federal Government. We keep what used to be your prisons full, often with innocent people, to make street signs, license-plates, textiles etc... Don't worry! I pay the slaves, I mean prisoners: $0.07 cents per hour. I make them work at least 80 hours per week. If they don't want to work, they are forced into solitary confinement, denied any correspondence, starved, and assaulted by privately paid guards until they decide to work. If your found guilty of the most innocent of crimes, I might have just the job for you. It's a good chance that you will be found guilty, since we pay off district judges to keep what used to be your prisons full. Due to the fact that we are private businesses, we need as many slave employees as possible to make a astronomical profit. From this great profit you will NEVER see a penny, get a tax break, or be judged fairly in court. Once again, like so many U.S. Government abuses of power; Voting alone will NEVER change this! As sad, or as unaccepted as this seems, I't is very very true.]})

This is an amazing film, great acting and alot of violence. If you like prison films then this is the film for you. The story is also outstanding over all 10/10
