Watched this when it first came out and just found them on here a few days ago. I must say that they did a really fine job of faking the majority of these films.

this is some heavy sh!t I know some isn't real but damn they did a good job making it look real. Some parts gave me the chills. If you like gross morbid stuff then this is the movie for you. I give it a 4/5

The description sound very stupid. Tat is all tis docu's abt? Deaths? The filmmaker must hv been a moron wit no other work 2 do.

Just gruesome scenes for those who like to see blood and disturbing concepts of death than go for it ...rate it a 4/5..

I seen this in the eighty's on a bootleg when it was illegal in Canada. Back then we all thought it was all real but now I found out that half of it was staged. But still a classic 7/10

they try to make this as real as you can get and do a pretty good job of it. pretty creepy in some of the scenes and still worth a look at.

still is the film that has shocked audiences even untill today, its a film that i think must be recognized as a film that we still to this day we can learn more of ourselves from it. and also in the end we all must face death, i still love this movie after all these years.

gotta love the happy music while strapping the prisoner down during the electric chair execution scene, its perfectly appropiate for executing a rapist/murderer hahah! killing that lowlife is happy event and should have an uplifting soundtrack to it heheh

"Faces of Death" is the grand-daddy of the "true death" movies! The old cover for the DVD stated plainly that the movie was banned in 48 countries! It should be updated to "Banned in 48 countries which haven't actually watched this crap". And crap it is ladies and gentlemen. I first watched this movie many moons ago when I was managing a video store and it was released with incredible hoopla. "Faces..." popularity is based on our basic curiosity and more depressingly, the "car wreck" scenario. Naturally, with our culture's preoccupation with everything that is supposedly bad for us it became a runaway hit. In actuality, the movie is a pastiche of grainy stock footage and obviously staged set pieces. I haven't watched any of the other so-called "true death" films, nor do I care to, but if you're into this sort of thing, watch this, since it is the first of it's kind!

The is overrated, not gory at all besides the slaughter house scenes. Very disappointed, someone recommend me GORY movies.

You can't be a fan of horror without having a few favorites from the 80's. In its day, it was a masterpiece.

I was 6 yrs old when the first one came out I remember conversations that this movie had and the impact it made . I can recall how we are not to see this movie at all meaning me and my brother . We were Bonnie and Clyde always getting into trouble . LOL so many memories

I thought this film was very boring.

When I was a teenager and I saw this movie, I always thought it was funny that the narrator would show a clip and then say he'd never be a part of whatever he showed again. Like the cow part, he said he'd never eat beef again... etc. "I'll never accidently get bricks dropped on my head again." lol (I made that one up by the way.) I also remember when they'd show it in theaters they'd always say they'd have nurses standing by just in case you fainted, and if you sat through the whole thing you'd get a certificate. Now they have entire television channels dedicated to what I like to call the "Poor Man's Faces of Death", like Tru TV. How the times have changed. You can't really rate this movie because it would be like rating a persons death, but if I had to I'd give it a 5/10 just because it brings back memories of being a stoned teenager watching this and eating spaghetti. lol
