Yes, I enjoyed both the anime and the movie. I was told there is a prequil to this movie. I was hoping that another version would be made were we would see prior to here birth the mother and father through the trusted caretakers view. I love asian cinematography circa 30's forward, I can remember my mom and dad taking me to watch the movie's with the subtitle's that would be the one weekend outing I could look forward too as a child. Now as an adult I do enjoy the faster pace and the graphics. It would be nice it the storyline's could be adhered to or flowed better as some of you so rightfully said. Good to know that many of you are at least interested in the culture and care about it being better.

this movie was a lot like the anime show the used to show on cartoon network on adult swim. i enjoyed it and am waitng on a second movie about this girl and her lifetime of killing monsters.

A pretty good horror/action movie,quite often anime doesn't translate well onto film,but this one managed fairly well.Although this movie didn't really stick with the anime storyline it still had enough action in it to keep most people happy,7/10.

pretty damn good movie though not as cool as the anime. 8/10
