An okay movie, thought the acting was really good 3/5

Great Movie. Not scary but, a thriller and the ending was beautiful. I had to watch this because Bill Moseley and Leslie Easterbrook are in this one. There is a twist. Loved it! 5/5

Well...I'm not really sure what the heck I just watched. The original idea was excellent it started out a little slow, got a little interesting then suddenly they were being killed by freaks! There was no explanation and my god some scenes in the film made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I couldn't believe how it all played out and some background scenes and just EVERYTHING was so confusing... The actors were poor they didn't do anything for the film one of them started off slutty then became suddenly caring for some reason... Having said all the bad things the last 30 mins of the film were actually quite interesting and the little girl really helped to string it together, the ending made no sense at all but I figured that was done on purpose. Anyway I enjoyed it slightly but its 5/10 Maybe worth a watch with friends...

It was ok,nothin to jump around the house about,little far out their,but somewhat good haunted house movie..On a scale of 1-10 Id give this a 6 1/2..cause I liked the house.

Thought this was okay for a B movie. Never read the book that some have mentioned so have nothing to compare it to. Your basic good vs. evil haunted house movie. Good for a one time watch. 3/5

Oh Ive seen this movie with a different cover and I thought it was pretty good ...It was very understandable and I did not have a hard time following it,,,,I would watch it again...I thought it was cool....I gave it a 6/10 but some people may have a hard time with it....

It's sad to see MM's career come to this. Regardless, this movie's watchable for a patient horror movie buff. It's not really a B movie, and it's a great reminder that making a good film is hard to do. 2-5 from me, only because the ending was actually pretty original and the acting improved throughout. Not confusing at all BTW.

I've seen worse, it had some interesting bits, but I saw the ending coming a mile away. Overall it was confused and didn't make a lot of sense. Haven't read the book, but I'm sure it's a lot better.

It wasnt that good, I mean it had potential but the last 30-40 minutes you pretty much knew what was gonna happen.

What an interesting thriller

leslie easterbrook and bill mosely are great actors...if no one noticed, she played mother firefly and he played Otis B. Driftwood in Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects! i love love love her. i wish she did more! oh ya, and this movie was aight. i wish Leslie would have been as animated as she was in devil's rejects! but still this movie, 6.5 outta 10

I found nothing new to stir the imagination in this one, I would call it a B+ but a B none the less. With questionable acting at times and a storyline that was never fully explored I found this movie slipped easily into the back of my mind and is harder to recall with a sloppy plot and even sloppier execution.

I agree with Jenjamin85, Peretti's book doesnt get justice in this movie, I wouldn't label it a horror, because you'd expect some kind of violence, but it was basically tv approved. Good idea, but I think it could've been conveyed better.

Movie was terrible the book is a hundred times better . The acting was bad as well not good at all i would give it a miss .
