Exellent low budget shocker featuring the late,greats,john carradine,and peter cushing and the best ,so far,of the nazi zombie movies.These Zombies are very scary ,you,never know when they are going to pop out of the ocean or the islands waterways to attack,the make-up on the blond haired zombies is good...this also stars brooke adams,Animal House,Invasion of the body snatchers,and luke Halperin of ,Flipper,fame.movie starts slow,but,when they arrive to the island,the chills and action kicks into high gear,Recomended viewing,especially late night viewing,and dig that background music!creepy!

This one is a classic. Yes, the opening is slow, and there is more character development than we are used to for people who are going to die anyway; this was the 1970's way of doing things. The zombies are a creeping doom that literally comes out of nowhere, and there is just enough explanation to excite the imagination. There is no gore to speak of, but the building sense of creeping terror is inevitable. I really like this movie, and it is the prototype of the Nazi Zombie film. If you need mindless, non-stop, gore spilling, brain-chewing action, Return of the Living Dead is also on this server. If you want an atmospheric movie that builds true horror with a sense of inevitability and that tugs at your emotions because you got to know some of these characters, then this one is for you.

Amazing Synth Soundtrack. Love this movie, such an underrated classic too as far as today is concerned. If your in the mood for a late 70's original horror movie give this one a try. It's not as cheesy and goofy as you might expect, it's one of the movies at the tale end of the more serious 70's horror films that didnt use gore and nudity to keep your attention. but instead a menacing atmosphere where doom slowly creeps in to mind.

Very scary looking zombies. I remember when I was young and saw this. its only PG rated for less blood use, but the silent, scary looking zombies with the very cool new wave glasses, got a lot of attention. they acting is a little better than average, but the characters still do the usual zombie bait stuff.

This may be the first zombie Nazi movie made? It is a definite watch of zombie enthusiasts. Definitely a movie you would want in your collection.
