At times we our own worst enemies when we have the best we tend to destroy it try to be cause self punishment thinking we are unworthy of such fame... Great role and performance by jolie she always seem to amazed me ...

Poor girl. I've watched this before but not for awhile. She is a case study in borderline personality disorder. Her separation anxiety was just horrible. Angelina Jolie did a very good job of portraying the torment people who have this go through. Whether or Gia was ever a model doesn't matter to me I think her personality was very addictive and you couldn't help but like her. So sad.

Omg. So sad but such a great movie. This has to be Angelina jolie's best. I could watch this again and again.

Yeah, if you think superficiality, mental illness, heroin addiction, being sodomized via rape and getting HIV, then dying form Aids is sexy, then this is very sexy indeed. This is about a real person--Google her life story sometime....

I can see why Jolie won the Golden Globes (Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV) & The Screen Actors Guild Award (Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries) for her role in GiA. During one of her interviews on E! Channel's THS, she mentioned that she got into one of her 'darkest' moments in life, while & after shooting GiA. It was so bad that her hubbie Miller had to take her away from Hollywood for a while.

GREAT MOVIE. I SHOULD HAVE WATCHED THIS A LONG TIME AGO. ANGELINA WAS GREAT AND SO WAS MERCEDES RUEHL. 10/10

It is hard for me to believe it has been 26 years since this poor young girl died such a horrible death after living a tortured life. Being an addict, be it drugs, alcohol, love, cards, whatever; it is the most devistating lifestyle for the addict as well as those who care - such as her young boy friend, he honestly loved Gia. I am not a big AJ fan, however she hit this movie perfectly, I don't know if she studied withdrawl or knows someone who has gone thru it, but she was spot on and it mades me wonder, and admire her for how she perfected this role. Perfection on her part and the supporting cast. In my humble opinion, this movie needs more press - so many young peeps could benefit from it; everyone always thinks it couldn't happen to me....but it can. It is a shame Gia never got to make the PS video that she wanted to make, now that would be something worth seeing also. Get your tissues, you will need them. And if you are feeling sorry for yourself, watch this movie, it tends to put things in perspective. 10/10

Angelina was pretty damn good in this! She plays a convincing out of control junkie surrounded by an impressive cast. Well worth the watch.

I have watched this movie at least 10 times and I love Angelina Jolie! In fact, I have just created a playlist of all her fillms available on this site :-) Gia is beautifully performed and it's so sad that this poor model died so young and her life was blighted. Watch this film...it's awesome. 5/5

u cant say Gia was stupid till you've been in her shoes. its easy to take a wrong turn to take easy way out wanting to escape but then ur trapped. some make it, some don't but being called stupid for it, doesn't help any! another brill film got on dvd 8/10

Jolie acted totally and great as usual. well edited cinematography. sad ending, but gotta say Gia live her life to the fullest. 8/10 -- PS: Mila Kunis shoulda got more parts XD *cheers*

Pretty good movie. Had amazing acting, and was actually very interesting, you won't be bored. Very sad movie, but still wonderful, and had some happy parts in it!!! 10/10. Highly recommended!
