Charlize did such a good job portraying Aileen.I actually felt very bad for Aileen and the life she had to live.

wow...excellent film, great acting of course as stated by everyone else. I'm sorry I never watched it sooner, it's definitely a favorite now. I love seeing life through another person's eyes and this movie surely allowed me to do that. I felt the emotions and understood the people involved without being able to judge anyone. 10/10

Charlize Theron, damn what a good acting...

An extremely powerful, and emotional film with one of the best performances I've ever seen. Theron was stunning, Ricci was wonderful, and the movie was very well-written. It had a simplicity that I found rather refreshing, and was not only good entertainment, but was meaningful. This is one of the best modern biographical crime movies ever made. It is not to be missed. 5/5.

Good movie, Charlize was fantastic. After reading about this womans very early life i think she is also a victim(still no excuse), she was failed on so many levels as a kid and adult.

Oh my gosh i couldnt believe what i watch so sad and how hard life can be hard at times if we dont choose wisely our mate this movie was very chilling to watch and how scary it is make decisions in our lives without thinking wisely.. There a pyramid and diffrent levels basic needs must be met , love is also part of lives but if we dont have stability it all crumbles down... The Maslow's hierarchy of needs wraps it all up.. clearly..

I had watched the documentary on Aileen Wuornos previously and was anxious to see this one too. I thought it was a good movie although it was difficult to watch in light of the fact that there were so many disturbing qualities that the movie brought out. Great acting on the part of Charlize Theron, she portrayed the character very well. Sad to think of the lives that some people have had dealt to them yet still no reason to commit such horrific crimes...on the other hand we all have our own psyche and some of us might be fortunate enough to have the coping mechanisms inside that allow us to deal with horrible experiences...and then there are those less fortunate and leave a mess in their wake. Good watch...10/10

I thought the same thing of Ricci in this role. If you ever saw interviews on TV with the real Tyria Moore who is very backwoods masculine looking... I believe they chose Ricci to play up how wrapped around Tyria's finger Aileen was. You just couldn't believe the murderous lengths Wournos went to preserve that relationship with Tyria if Tyria was cast as a rock hard ugly dyke. I know I couldn't.
