Well cast and directed, James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal give us a glimpse into the world of S&M. The film is erotic, dark and yet also a tender love story. Spader plays these roles so well. One of my all time favourites.

Terrific movie. So much better than I thought it would be from the description. James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal are great together. Maggie is just perfection in her role. Definitely recommend it.

I love this movie! I am a major fan of James Spader, he is sensual to a flaw. This is a down to the bone, raw love story and I'm glad I watched it. I will watch it again. I love the end!!!!! Just watch it with an open mind and be your own judge.
