i thought this was a really good movie could have gone without seeing his manhood but was a very watchable movie

Robin Williams was on form in this movie. Quite a good black comedy overall, well paced and cleverly written. 8/10

Great movie. The first hour is actually depressing, but the final act is so cathartic. Robin Williams is such a fine actor. 4.5 out of 5.

I may have watched this at the wrong time, I was aiming for a more happy kinda movie. It's very depressing and dark. It's a work of art for sure, and if you're into movies with some very realistic but also very serious issues, then... this may be for you.

HM... I could write a whole essay on this... but all i will say is- what a very strange movies! Weird and perverted( even sick) at the beginning, disturbing in the middle and freeing at the end! Very good ending though! Overall, 6/10 ( not the best of Robin's films)

This movie was eh.... iv'e seen better. Robin has been in better. Its ok for a one time watch.

I avoided seeing World's Greatest Dad for quite some time due to the title. I mistook it for some Disney kid's movie, plus, Bobcat Goldthwait is not regarded to a mainstream audience "whatever that is" as a writer/director of dark comedies- if anything he's 'that crazy guy' from Police Academy movies. You could look at this film in a few ways. At first it appears that the dad is doing the right thing for his son, for his students and for himself. Then you keep wondering if he will draw the line. Also, the banter between Robin Williams and Daryl Sabara in the first act is sharp, twisted, and downright dark. WGD is full of great satire and has some interesting things to say about creative process. Lastly, an undeniable and "honest sweet" emerges from the film's last act.

this is a brilliant film ... not what i expected ...top quality .good ending too!

ultra dark comedy and one of the best around at the moment, its up there with super and god bless america, god bless bobcat goldthwaite lol 9/10
