Good film! but just to remind people- you will not find "plenty of action" in this one, so think twice. but personally, its Worth a watch... 7/10

No monsters...no shaky cam...no mysterious thing out to get you in the woods, unless you count the Germans...lol~; ) ***(shaky flashlight may be required & is sold separately. Fantastic visuals haven't really seen a war movie that was half decent from an American view. Great cast great scenery and a superb soundtrack. Enjoy!

A Hidden Gem Indeed !!

slow moving, these guys spend the whole movie walking through the snow to get back to the army and talking but then there are some real interesting goings ons too...i know it sounds like i didnt like it but really i haf to say i did and then also there were some action scenes. theres one guy that never misses when he shoots and is a hero. it wasnt real gross so that was a plus for me as well as the heart warming storyline. the acting was fantastic, all the scenes seemed realistic. if your looking for Rambo you wont find him here but maybe youll walk away happy and wonder about some things.

for someone who is against guns (hence your picture) you seem to know a lot about bullets. How come?

Sorry i didn't like it. I found it to be boring propaganda which is really quite common. Very slow moving with a very basic story to it. If you have nothing better to do then by all means watch but otherwise do not bother. 6/10

I really enjoyed this film, didn't think I would as its less action more emotional. Worth a watch 3/5

good old war where would we be now without a good old war

Great movie, one thing though. Too many german guys dead, a bit hard to believe :)

I nearly passed this one over, and what a loss that would have been. The Saints (the captured German and the Deacon) I'm virtually certain were Mormons, or Latter-day Saints. The Deacon's mission in prewar Berlin supports this deduction, but the brand of religion involved is not as material as is the message of hope even in the midst of the bitterness and horror of war. For me personally, "Saints and Soldiers" rates a solid five. The story made me think and, more importantly, it moved me. The last time a movie hit me with that much force, it was "We Were Soldiers Once, and Young." In both, I was so moved that I watched the credits through to the end, and still didn't want it to be over. What a gem.

great movie in my book, it is sad but true that every side has the same kind of people, but still love the USA.

A great film that was made for under 100k. If you hate this movie then story and plot is something you don't look for in a movie.

People like this movie, but not the recently released Pathfinders? Sure, Pathfinders cost 50 times more, and the acting was worse. Saints and Soldiers would've been better with less music and more authentic battle scenes. The last battle scene where it takes three bullets from a 7.62 Kar98K to kill a man was a bit weird. You would imagine a round, traveling at nearly 800 meters a second (twice the speed of sound), would put a man down from one chest wound, not three.

One of the best war-movies I've ever seen. To be compared with the best, such as "Band of Brothers" and S"aving Private Ryan". If you like those movies I mentioned, you just got to see this.

That had to be one of the most realistic ww2 shows yet,not too much overshoot/exploding stuff .it was well acted ...by noone i,ve seen onscreen before as well.

I finally watched this movie and was I impressed. What a great movie. Well worth the watch.

Awesome movie. I was refreshing to see just how good a war movie can be without all the profanity. I would definitely watch this again.
