a chuckling film! a must try

One of the best comedy movie ever. Seth was terrific and the whole movie was very funny. I forget the count now how many bullets Danny McBride had in his belly lol

I freakin love this movie it's one of the ones you can watch over and over and still laugh your ass off. Definitly a stoner movie but also humerous to non stoners too. 9/10

I have seen a variety of stoner movies, either made with or for stoners. The stoner part is almost identical throughout the movies: hallucinations, uncontrolled laughing, red eyes, cotton mouth, random ramblings, poor logic process & decision-making ability, crazy/random/awkward situations, etc. That part requires an uncanny chemistry between the "stoners" to be memorable. Though this movie tries to create an emotional connection between the two main protagonist stoners, it ultimately fails because the goal of the movie is the action. The humor is simple (as in you don't have to think about it and is more similar to a pie to the face or a fart joke, than the life of Oliver Cromwell in song) and implies a certain state-of-mind to appreciate it. A good comedy is funny in a variety of states and I am starting to find that implied required state to be insulting to the target demographic.

I did not think I was going to like this but it ended up being very funny with the characters random convo ...it had me laughing and I enjoyed it. 3/5

seth rogan is great in this movie...gives lots of laughs and good comedies dont come along that often for me. Ive come to realise that when mr rogan is in a movie i am now inclined to check it out. im expecting lots of laughs everytime...the story was a bit stupid at times if im honest but it wasnt meant to be serious now was it...most people wouldnt be disappointed if your looking for laughs....but not a classic....7.2/10

The fight scenes are hysterical. I love the high level of anxiety in the film, just makes it even funnier. Nice chemistry between the actors too. Not an amazing film but I enjoyed it. If you like bromance you will like it.

To be caught up in so much drama like these two were is really incomprehensible by any stoner cuz we get high to avoid 'missions', these two were in all kinds of trouble. they shoulda just stayed home and played ps3, oh wait, DAMN you PSN!
