Awesome movie. Even after all this years,it felt stylish n cool. Good story, good acting,great direction,cinematography n music made this movie epic. The music n the introduction scene for the 3 actors really impressed me. Henry Fonda's intro was especially great. The way he enters like a devil wit four henchmen n the music that plays along during tat moment,the scene was just remarkable. One of the best western without doubt n one that will remain evergreen for years 2 come.

This is my favorite western of all time. I love Spaghetti Westerns but this one is priceless. Everything was spot on: strong story, excellent acting, directing and I especially loved the use of the musical motif in the film. This film grips you from start to finish and you thoroughly enjoy the ride.

A delicious combination of Italian and American western film making. The music courts you throughout and leads you just where the director wants you. Jason Robards is an original actor in this film and others, as well as Charles Bronson however one might say significantly less talented. This spaghetti concoction is a nice bowl of entertainment.

Amazing, probably the second best western of all time and definetly one of my favorites.

One of the best soundtrack ever!

Dont understand this movie, had to take 3 tries at this movie before I could finish watching it. Fell asleep the first couple of times. Aside from the opening scene it was actors acting badass and not being badass. As for the rest of the movie its story was incoherent and all over the place and it used dramatic scenes and moments as a crutch to move this movie along. The harmonica recording was over produced and sounded to fabricated to the point of annoyance. The dialog was just too lazy. The potential of the story was great just the direction dialog really sold this movie short. Come to think of it, this movie was missing alot of heart. This movie relied more on stylized filming (of the 60's) than style in storytelling or direction. Its sorta like some terrible 3D movies nowadays, it relies heavily on effects and doesnt care about important things like story, character, direction and heart. But, to a kid growing up with it, he wont care and will still love the terrible 3D movie until the end of time even though its terrible.

What the Hell with the harmonica dude! XD i like Sergio Leone, but i think that The Good, The Bad And THe Ugly is much better.

Nice sound track but far from being one of the best westerns made. very very slow from the off and bronson on that harmonica got more and more annoying as it went on. i certainly didnt waste 2hr 38mins watching this drab. just over an hr was long enough. john wayne, clint eastwood and van cleef are better westerns. 4/10

not for me...20mins was enough - like paint drying it was so slow n boring. gimme a spaghetti western or clint anyday. 0/10

Amazing film, probaly Leone's finest piece of work. The opening scene where they are waiting for the train and there is no soundtrack, no music only the sound of wind and the characters, genius...

I can only of a few other westerns that's in this movie's league.

An epic spaghetti western that will keep you on the edge of your seat for sure! Brilliant casting. It had an amazing feel to it. A classic, and most definitely a must see.
