Hmm... I watched this mostly for the hype factor. I've attempted to read the book and couldn't read more than 3/4 of it since it was so gory and just wrong! This movie: I think it's one of those movies that are a bit overrated. Maybe I just don't 'get' psycho movies- I'm not really a fan of Taxi Driver either. I understand and appreciate the subtext, but I honestly felt quite bored watching it.

The sequels not as dark

This movie is really hard. I know, I know something like that doesn't exist! But what i'm trying to tell you is that it plays with you're mind; i, really didn't you what to believe: he is crazy or a serial killer?This is why i'm telling you that this movie is hard.Apart of that its worth watching!
